By using SampleX, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including researchers, institutional reviewers, lab managers, and administrators.

2. Use of Service

• You must be 18 years or older to use this service
• You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and your institution
• You will not misuse the platform or attempt to circumvent security measures
• You agree to comply with all applicable laws and institutional policies

3. Sample Exchange

• All samples must be legally obtained and documented
• Proper documentation is required for hazardous materials
• Compliance with shipping regulations is mandatory
• Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) must be executed when required
• Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with biosafety regulations

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• One account per person; institutional accounts require authorization
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

5. Intellectual Property

• Respect all intellectual property rights of other users and institutions
• No unauthorized use of platform content or branding
• User content remains the property of users and their institutions
• By posting content, you grant SampleX license to display it on the platform

6. Privacy & Data

Your use of SampleX is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

SampleX is not liable for indirect damages, sample quality issues, or losses arising from the use of the platform. We provide the platform 'as is' without warranties of any kind, except as required by law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SampleX and its affiliates from any claims arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
